The Rod Holder Extension provides a deeper sleeve and a slot for the reel arm, keeping your rod more secure. It also raises the reel up off the deck to help keep it free of salt water. Leash the Rod Holder Extension to the boat and the rod to the holder using the moulded pad-eyes.
